While i do enjoy reading these stories, I have to say that Thor must be the luckiest character in literary history. There is almost no situation where he has not come out of practically unscathed. the same goes for most of the supporting cast as well. injuries received are largely forgotten by the next chapter. the beasts encountered seem to also be native to one little geographic patch as none that have appeared have seemed to be an issue in any other region. ancillary characters may as well just be cannon fodder and no one escapes death without a spear, arrow or knife through the throat. I wish that each book were longer as I am more and more unwilling to pay increasing prices for each "book" in the series.

This series is a waste of money. Nothing of consequence happens except for very predictable outcomes. It is written with maximum drama and little excitement. The story just drags on every combat outcome just like the last. Thor uses his powers in the same exact way each time. I will not be continuing this series.

The books are wonderful however i have a real problem with each book being more expensive than the last. It makes me want to stop reading before i get any deeper invested. I feel like im being taken for a ride so to speak there is no reason to increase the price its taking advantage of the reader and if i do finish this series i dont think ill be " investing" in any new series
