Very informative and philosophical. Takes a lot of re reading and thinking to understand what he's trying to explain briefly in sword play. Other than that, great read into the mind of a great samurai!

This guide on the way of the warrior altered my perception of combat, and life in general. A must read for anyone who wishes to grasp the spirit of living, dying, and killing. Though as Musashi would say, experience is the only true teacher.

This is a must read book and should be read multiple times to fully understand it.One of the greatest pieces of literature on strategy and combat and really has you think about it after the first read.these teachings can be used in everyone's day to day life which just shows miyamotos genius and shows you the true strategist he is.
