21 short stories spread across the main story, all the way from volume 1 part 1 to volune 4 part 4. A couple of stories are duplicates of those found in the fanbooks and a couple of others retread a story we have heard a few times from a slightly different perspective (Myne talking to Rosina in the main story, Rosina talking to Wilma in the main volume side stories and now in this book, Wilma talking to Rosina, all about the same incident). However, most of the stories are fresh and new, fleshing out the activities of the side characters while Myne was busy in the main story. It is a very entertaining and worthwhile addition to the Bookworm series.

This book makes the main storyline so much better. Making the world so much bigger and reading the thoughts of other characters breathes more life into them, making one more invested .

I was amazed with the overall quality of the short stories in this book. there seem to be only a couple that were cut for not being good enough to make an epilogue. The ones at the beginning and end of the book are so good that I almost wish they were in an epilogue so they can be considered required reading for the series.
