About this ebook

From New York Times bestselling author Mira Grant comes the second book in the terrifying Parasitology series.

The SymboGen-designed tapeworms were created to relieve humanity of disease and sickness. But the implants in the majority of the world's population began attacking their hosts, turning them into a ravenous horde.

Now those who do not appear to be afflicted are being gathered for quarantine as panic spreads, but Sal and her companions must discover how the tapeworms are taking over their hosts, what their eventual goal is, and how they can be stopped.

"A riveting near-future medical thriller that reads like the genetically-engineered love child of Robin Cook and Michael Crichton." —John Joseph Adams on Parasite

A bit too much detail applied to every scene, maybe hoping to bring the characters closer to reality? Not sure about the intent, but it was a little too drawn out most of the time. I finished it wondering if the next book will be worth the effort. Guess I'll have to try it and see.

It was a great read. Like the first one I couldn't put it down. My only problem was the need for the character to keep pointing out her struggle with taking over the body and who she really was. I feel like that was too repetitive. Other than that I loved the characters and the way they make you feel. Can't wait for the third.

This book is awesome. Mira Grant's caracters are real. They make you care for them. She shapes a future that could happen even as we want to believe desperatly that it never could. Mira Grant is a new breed of author that is definatly to be taken seriously. I started with Parasite, and I now have the total FEED collection. All I have to say is see for yoursef. You will be amazed.
