it's a fairly well written story, though it's full of tropes, it's how the characters handle the tropes that actually allow the story to exist more then a simple cookie cutter. when you read this book do so for the story itself. the woldbuilding is average at best. romance is fairly cookie cutter. It actually Excels at character growth and story progression. while the females reactions are kinda cookie cutter they all have individual personalities and thoughts. basically go into this knowing your buying a cookie cutter novel that just so happens to be very well done.

Straight-up power fantasy with little grounding in logic, but it's kind of fun regardless. You'll have to turn your suspension of disbelief WAAAAAAY up for this one when the MC finds plants that are super easy to cultivate and somehow simultaneously myth-levels of rare. Or when he gets introduced to the school that has alumni at the top of a bunch of major fields but also doesn't mind that he is historically terrible at both sports and academics. But in the end, the story is fun to read. It feels like the classic anime protagonist with zero self-awareness of his own charms is actually justified in this case, and he appears to actually be getting some character development, so I am interested to see where the story leads.

This us a great isekai turn of life story. The characters and the world draw you in. I give it 4 stars because it also brought up some of my bad memories. But the way the main character dealt with those problems brought my mood back up. I recommend this book to those who need an escape from daily life for awhile. This story just pulls you in!!
