Whether this is your first exploration of inner space, or you’ve devoted your life to the inward journey, this book will transform your relationship with yourself and the world around you. You’ll discover what you can do to put an end to the habitual thoughts and emotions that limit your consciousness. By tapping into traditions of meditation and mindfulness, author and spiritual teacher Michael A. Singer shows how the development of consciousness can enable us all to dwell in the present moment and let go of painful thoughts and memories that keep us from achieving happiness and self-realization.

Copublished with the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) The Untethered Soul begins by walking you through your relationship with your thoughts and emotions, helping you uncover the source and fluctuations of your inner energy. It then delves into what you can do to free yourself from the habitual thoughts, emotions, and energy patterns that limit your consciousness. Finally, with perfect clarity, this book opens the door to a life lived in the freedom of your innermost being.

This was the answer to my prayers. I have found this book to be the doorway to enlightenment and an opening of a new millenia. the author is as great in person as in the book with humor and love every step of the way. if you read this book carefully it opens your eyes to the reality of what is ACTUALLY important, life without wanting, which never stops if you think about it. without this book I'd be wasting away in a doctor's office not knowing what to do but take medicines prescribed by psychologists and doctors who are paid by pharmecuetical companies. don't ever judge a book by it's cover and take your mind on a real game of hot potato with the will and power to stop it's incessant, unnecessary, neurotic chatter for the most part. best gift I've ever given people and I recommend it to everyone. those who don't benefit didn't actually do what it was telling you, let it all go, not suppress it or control it.

I would like to thank Michael Singer for writing this book. My search for the truth began with Paramahansa Yogananda 14 years ago and over the last few months things have quickened markedly as I have found my path leading in one direction, culminating in principles enunciated in The Untethered Soul. For me at least he has provided a blueprint from which to base my practice on and has done so in a non denominational and simple way. This is a wonderful book and in my humble opinion is a masterpiece ,one, for those that genuinely seek the truth will be eternally grateful for.

Singer is able to breakdown the many concepts that are introduced in this book in a very sequential manner that it makes it so much easier to understand than many other books out there. As I read it, I got hooked onto it and experienced a significant shift in perspective. Very thankful for this book =)
