Mercedes has been one of my all-time favorite authors since I was about 17 years old. I've never read a book of hers I have not enjoyed, but this series definitely has a special place in my heart. it was the first of hers that I read, after all!

Mercedes Lackey is a full-time writer and has published numerous novels and works of short fiction, including the bestselling Heralds of Valdemar series.
