It was beautifully written...no bad mouthing...or nothing...it put you in a spot that only her story can...you felt the emotions...and times of change...bless her for opening her little world up for us to take a small peak...I'll read it over again when I want to feel this way again thank you!

I was reluctant to read this at 1st due the fact Prince was dead. Its still weird to write down. After finishing the book, Im so glad that I did wait. I needed time to greive. A great read. I'm saddened by how their marriage ended but Im sure that they will always love 1another.

Like Prince I am a born again believer in Christ. I think that Mayte was a little insensitive about his belief but then again everyone has their own opinion. Also somethings she shares in the book I think should have been kept to herself. It got a little too personal.

Mayte Garcia is an internationally acclaimed dancer, actress, singer, and choreographer. She has appeared in numerous films and starred in the VH1 reality series Hollywood Exes, as well as Army Wives, Psych, The Closer, and Nip/Tuck. She lives in Los Angeles with her young daughter.
