Ever since Fifty Shades, every author now thinks they have to write about dominance. Frankly it's getting tiresome. Fifty Shades was so popular because it touched on something rarely written about. But holy cow....does everyone have to make everything about dominance these days. It's overdone. Please give us more stories like the Highlander series.

I enjoyed this book. The writing isn't phenomenal but I enjoyed the advantage of the omniscient POV. It was also refreshing to have some suspense & edge in the book. I could pick & pry about the timing of things & how face things moved by the end making it unrealistic but overall it was a good read so I'm not. Check it out! I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Another reader commented about every writer writing about dominance because of 50 shades. This book was written long before 50 shades. Maya had already been doing this genre for years !
