John Connolly est né à Dublin en 1968. Avec ses romans, dont Le livre des choses perdues, L’ange noir et Tout ce qui meurt, cet ancien journaliste à l’Irish Times a su imposer un univers noir, fantastique et surnaturel d’une grande originalité, à l’instar de Prière d’achever qui a reçu le prestigieux prix Edgar Allan Poe 2014, dans la catégorie Roman Court. Jonathan Maberry is a NY Times bestselling author, four-time Bram Stoker Award winner, and comic book writer. He writes horror, thrillers, mystery, fantasy, science fiction and suspense for adults and teens. His novels include Predator One, Code Zero, Rot & Ruin, Fall of Night, Ghost Road Blues, Patient Zero, and many others. Several of Jonathan's novels are in development for movies or TV including V-Wars, Extinction Machine, Rot & Ruin, and Dead of Night. Ceci l’a sans doute destiné à écrire sa propre trilogie sur les zombies, d’abord sur son site internet personnel, avant de se faire remarquer par un éditeur. Ses ouvrages ont en commun la mise en scène de monstres classiques revus et corrigés par ses soins, tels les vampires de 13 Balles dans la peau, qui sont de véritables machines à tuer, bien loin des suceurs de sang pales et androgynes... Aujourd’hui, David vit à New York, en compagnie de son chien, Mary Shelley (!) et de son épouse, Elisabeth. Lors de leurs vœux de mariage, cette dernière lui a fait promettre de botter les fesses de beaucoup de zombies !
