About this ebook

The first ever original comic book tale set in David Weber's HONORVERSE! On the leisure station Eros, naval commander Honor Harrington's roguish uncle has gone missing... under very mysterious circumstances. In the absence of actual shore leave, it's up to Honor and her crewmen, officers Horace Harkness and Scotty Tremaine, with the help of her pet Treecat, Nimitz, to infiltrate Eros and uncover a mystery of galactic proportions! But what they find will extend far beyond a simple kidnapping, and will push Honor and her crew to their absolute limits... and then some.

First, if you happen to be one of the few who have not read David Weber's Honorverse books, stop whatever you are doing and go read them. Now! The story line is very good in both On Baselisk Station (good adaptation of the first book) and Bred to Kill (original story). You can tell that David Weber is consulted and has the power of advice and consent on the series, and that's a very good thing, helping keep the comics true to canon and keeping the morals and ethics of the Honorverse intact as well as the technical details. The art is generally high quality. I think Honor was drawn better in OBS but Nimitz was drawn better in BTK. If you don't have a preconceived image of the two from reading the books you should enjoy the art in both volumes.

It's a lot better than the first volume with the way it ebb's and flow's.
