The art was good and it had some fun moments, but the general story seemed like typical world peril with a Norse twist. Not necessarily a bad thing.

But definitely not the best. Ends waaay to abruptly. Leaves more questions than answers. It was good til the end, then boom its over and not gonna finish tying up loose ends or tell the aftermath...idk, read if u wish...try to find it on sale.

I purchased this collection of the Fear Itself stories on the basis of the pruduct description stating "Collecting FEAR ITSELF: BOOK OF THE SKULL and FEAR ITSELF #1-7". Alas, no 'Book Of The Skull' in this download...

Matt Fraction started creating comics with the smaller publishers, like AiT/Planet Lar and IDW Publishing. He is also known for his work on The Five Fists of Science and Casanova, as well as a number of series for Marvel Comics. Fraction is currently working on Marvel's Uncanny X-Men, Thor and Invincible Iron Man, the latter of which led to his consulting work on the set of the film Iron Man 2.
