'Eyes Without A Face' is the second book in the Spider-Man Noir universe, but it's not really necessary to read the first one. As far as the story itself, meh... it's fine. It's fun to see alternate 1930's versions of Spider-Man, Black Cat, Dr. Octaves, and the Sandman. And while the creators went with an edger aesthetic by way of mobsters brutality killing each other, Nazis scientists conducting unethical experiments, Peter Parker and Black Cat having an intimate relationship, and the struggles of Black Americans during that time; it just didn't feel... special to me. IDK, it was good (no blaring story problems), but not great either (in my opinion). The book was definitely a quick read though (I think I got through it in less than 2 hours), but it's not something I'm going to be discussing (outside of this review) or revising anytime soon (if that tells you anything).

I would like a refund. Everything is good and I haven't read the comic. I didn't mean to buy it but it will not let me get refund.
