ignore the haters on your stories they just dont like cats. I like cats and the Raksura remind me of cats in so many ways yet as well as birds too since they dust bath in the sand or the dirt like a bird does. I hope to someday maybe if I had oh I dunno won the lottery I'd use half the money to buy all of your book series so that I can actually read the book all of the way through to the end of it though without being having to stop half way through the story right as the book get's to the very best good part too. -_- wish I could find out whatever had happened next to Pearl's kin though in one story I had read. too bad it did not let me though. darn samples why can't I just read the full story for once. thats all I ask is if I can do that maybe.. without having to buy the book series perhaps?. thatd be nice.

Martha Wells was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1964, and has a BA in anthropology from Texas A&M University. She is the author of ten previous novels, including The Cloud Roads, The Element of Fire, Wheel of the Infinite, the Fall of Ile-Rien trilogy, and the Nebula-nominated The Death of the Necromancer. She has also had short fiction published in Realms of Fantasy, Black Gate Magazine, Lone Star Stories, and the Tsunami Relief anthology Elemental, and has articles in the non-fiction anthologies Farscape Forever and Mapping the World of Harry Potter. She lives in College Station, Texas, with her husband.
