This is such a beautiful and meaningful story reflecting the sorrow and loss of so many who flee across the ocean in search of a better life, often with tragic consequences. Yet ultimately, there is hope of a magical, mystical kind. Beautifully illustrated and offered in four languages with with supporting material, this is a wonderful resource for younger readers and foreign language study, covering the themes of emigration/immigration and cross-cultural understanding.
