Mark Waid's definitive masterwork. The uplifting epic that single-handedly struck down the dark of age of comics in one awe-inspiring stroke. An eternal legend.

It was a good read and didn't see it coming down to that but it's a classic. I enjoyed how aging heroes came back and dealt with the youth and new gen of this book.

Read the original edition many times, even as an audio book, it's a great story, even greater graphically, every page is it own story to me, very different take on the heroes we all now and love, a more mature approach I will say, many ideas seen in today's stories and movies came out of this pages... Enjoy!
