The prayer answered book. A while ago I asked God to give me guidance on how I should pray and how I can help others better by praying for them, then this book came along. For me finishing this book was an accomplishment because I don't read alot. And I hope that many young christians can read this book to have better understanding that consistancy in prayer and dissapline can change generations and circumstanses. We as Christains stopped praying because alot of things in this world are distracting us from getting fully into the presence of the most High. All the inspireing stories in this book gave me hope to give my all in prayer, because God can make ways we can't imagine. And I pray that every person that reads this book will be motivated and have faith and stay in prayer . Thank you Jesus. Amen.

After reading Mark's book I can say I'm not the same person I was 40 days ago. I still struggle with the issues of life, but after spending time in prayer with God, my outlook and attitude are much different than before. I am so grateful to God for inspiring Mark to put on paper his testimonies that have become an encouragement to me in my spiritual journey. Mark Batterson is the lead pastor of National Community Church in Washington, DC. One church with multiple locations, NCC owns and operates Ebenezers Coffeehouse, the Miracle Theatre, and the DC Dream Center. NCC is currently developing a city block into the Capital Turnaround; the 100,000-square-foot space will include an event venue, a child development center, a mixed-use marketplace, and a coworking space.
