Mind-opening book. I'm just disappointed about the part she talks about health and disease. These statements are no sign of a loving heart, but discriminatory and hurtfull for many people who have to lose their life because of cancer or any other serious disease. This is no sign of "lovelessness" or just an "illusion"!

I read this book years ago and have given copies to family members. I'm ordering a new one now because I'm in a place where I need to be reminded of what is important. This book does this. Marianne Williamson clearly has an understanding of 12 step programs and their philosophies, and it is also obvious that she understands that many people have a difficulty with the concept of God..... It is a wonderful book. Centers you & inspires you.

I absolutely "DARE" you to read this book. Have you ever questioned things in your life and asked "why" ? Then I dare you again to read it. I'm already reading it through again so I can thoroughly absorb the powerful wisdom within it! (Dare, dare, double dare you)
