Bird shifter Prince Aeson has just been told that his mate is in trouble and he must find her in the human world quickly or she will perish. He finds her and so much more as he protects her and meets her family, and someone he has known a long time. The characters are terrific, with intense feelings and automatic trust. The storyline has several substories going, with a serial killer, another realm and the fated mate. Loved the chemistry and the entertaining way it all fell together into a great ending. Fantastic series.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

Prince Aeson wants what his brother has, just doesn't want to admit it. Yes, he wants a mate and children. He's enjoyed his womanizing days but he is sent by the oracle to Earth to find his chosen one. Add the incentive her life is being threatened and he will lose her if he doesn't find her right away. Where he finds her is unusual especially considering her minimal experience. However there are more surprises for the Prince. His future in laws are more than meet the eye. If he can get past the protective males he still has to convince Shelby they are fated. This hawk shifter is no better at handling human women than the others in the series, but somehow being a super hot, shifter with a little magik thrown in gets the job done. You will laugh, empathize with the pain and enjoy the intrigue, not to mention the hot relationship.

Prince Aeson's search for his mate brings him to his favourite club. He is stunned by his overwhelming need to protect her. Shelby is confused by the fact that although she knows she is in danger she immediatley trusts Aeson. THis is another fantastic story from Mandy M. Roth.
