Adam Shafer seems to have it all, sex appeal, brawn, magikal powers, superhero status, the ability to charm the pants off any female. Any female whose not the sexy, leggy blonde Special Paranormal Prosecutor, Tori Dore. They’ve been working hard to convict an evil mastermind but Tori doesn’t seem to even notice Adam exists. He’s sure his powers of persuasion are still working, but with Tory they seem defective. This can only mean one thing, she’s his destined mate. Can he convince her he’s more than a man-whore before evil rears its ugly head, threatening their happiness?

Ratings and reviews

A second look into The League of Unnaturals. It is fitting that the brother who fought so hard when his sister was mated by a league member, that Adam has the brother of his heart's interest out for blood as well. Tori has prosecuted an evil unnatural and is being threatened by his minions. Adam wants to protect her even though he is unable to seduce her interest, a first for him. Tori fights the attraction unaware there is more to the battle of feelings between the two. Can their interest grow into more or will the powers succeed in keeping them apart? The reader is slowly clued into the secrets and forces working for good and evil. The story is fast paced with a short visit from old friends in the first book Pikes Peak, and new villains and heroes. Their relation is filled with heat. I enjoyed and am waiting for more tales to come.
