What a wildly captivating novel. Yates develops the intricate culture in which her characters find themselves. The contrast between it and the final relationship between the characters was distinct and created a creative and heartfelt novel for readers to loose themselves in. Not only that, but as is Yates’ hallmark, the characters are well developed emotionally and intellectually. The complete picture that this creates of both of them as individuals as well as of them as a couple was fantastic. This was a solid and enjoyable novel that I really had fun reading. Yates had me thinking and falling in love with her characters throughout. I’d definitely recommend it to others. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

As a little girl you dream of being a princess, marrying a prince. While that is the characters in this book, he had issues! But she loved him through them and readers got a sweet ending,
