Estudió Pedagogía en Historia en la Universidad Católica. Ahí conoció a María José Zegers, quien se convirtió en su amiga y coautora de la serie de libros sobre Alonso, un joven aventurero que viaja por América en los tiempos de la llamada conquista española. Actualmente trabaja como coordinadora en un colegio de Santiago.
