It started in a tree. Yes, Dwyn had escaped to get away from the taunting ladies all vying for the hand of the last three Buchanan brothers that were unmarried. She knew she would not have a chance because she was not beautiful and slender like all the other ladies. So she went to the orchard and climbed a tree. Little did she know that Geordie Buchanan had been asleep under a nearby tree and saw her. He decided to climb up after her and help her down. Oh my, and it ended with a kiss. Of course she did not know who he was so... A delightful story full of humor and an instant attraction that sizzles, but it is soon apparent someone is trying to harm Dwyn. Accidents start happening and she get violently ill. So as they spend more time together, Geordie wants to marry her and asks for her hand. But who knows if she will make it alive! Lynsay Sands always writes stories that draw me in and this was no exception. Wonderful characters and I loved these two!! A great addition to this great series!

I love her books they are all great. This probably wont be one I reread as often. It was good but I didn't really get know Brodie as much as the other brothers in the previous books. I am looking forward to the one regarding her sister though nice to know there will be more than just the Buchannons ahead

I love this whole series. The books flow into eachother well but can also be read as stand alone. I would highly recommend starting book 1 and reading all the way through. I reread the whole series every time a new book drops!
