It took me forever to read it... first, I'm a slow reader, second I could only read a handful of pages at a time.. not because the book was boring but because I found myself entrapped on the at with these girls which would get disturbed by the physical world around me... I want to be on the trail so bad that I really didn't want the book to end. I'll start reading the sequel tomorrow, and I plan on starting my hike in Feb (nobo) or may (sobo) which I'll probably yoyo - Woodstock (the bird)

A well written account o f the trail and tons of adventures along the way. Makes you want to quit your job, live off pop-tarts and ramen, and go hike.
