I've read a lot of books written by Lucinda Race; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the sixth book in the McKenna Family Romance Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Dani & Paul; she’s been hiding in Loudon for two years after she ran away from her abusive ex; now she’s receiving threats and tells her friend Ellie about it, she asks her policeman fiancé and his partner Paul for help. This romantic suspense was an enjoyable read. I really liked the characters and the storyline. There were a few things that interrupted the flow of the story. There was dialogue that was unclear as to who was speaking as well as new scenes starting abruptly with no segue. There is suggestion of premarital sex. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
