Edwina Brown
Lisa Wingate is fast becoming a must read author for me. Once again she has imbued her characters with so much emotion, strength, and real humanity, flaws included, that they come alive on the pages of this mesmerizing story! Her illuminating depiction of Moses Lake, let's you practically feel the rhythms of the wildlife, scents on the waterways, and the spectacular vistas that are both beautiful and sometimes treacherous. This book shakes you up, wrings you out, and finally wraps you in a warm hug that lingers long after the final page.
