I love the first 3 books of this series. I didn't initially read them in order but they are not hard to comprehend if read as stand alone books. It just simply makes the story that much better when you know what events some of the later books are referring to when you read them in order. I like the villain and although his obsession is bizarre to put it very mildly, he's still an interesting character and in some parts more interesting than the main protagonists.

When I read this book I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Stayed up all night. Lisa Jackson is one of my favorite authors, adding her sister Nancy Bush and I doubt you could find a better writing pair! Read this book, you won't be disappointed
