Or that Ridge’s mother is on the verge of discovering that magic exists and her future daughter-in-law is a sorceress. These are small hiccups, and the wedding will go smoothly. Ridge is sure of it. Really.  

Ratings and reviews

Books 1-3 had me hooked. I think book 4 fell off a bit, but 5 brought it back. 6 and 7, I don't quite remember, but I don't think any of them matched the first few books in the series. Book 8 was a complete waste of time. No adventure whatsoever. Regrets. Oh Wells. I did end up skipping a ton of pages because it just got terrible. Lots of minute grammatical mistakes here and there also. Makes me think not much thought put into this final book.

a short story of misadventure and unexpected friendship from a man Ridge hates. I laughed more that I should've & I'm glad I didn't read it after my other half went to sleep. 😁😁😁 I've enjoyed the whole series, with some books being better than others. I look forward to reading more about Iskandia, Ridge, Sardelle, Jaxi & the others.

Though like all the other books in the series it was a good read and well written but I was disappointed that they didn't tie up all the Loose Ends. I'm kind of hoping there may be a next book so we know what the future holds for all the characters we met along the way.
