Ratings and reviews

This is not a typical Linda Howard book; for starters, it is heavily in the supernatural world. That would normally be okay except we know only a bit about this world from what the book tells us and it throws all the info at you at once. I'm still unsure that the main character lives up to her full potential but she's strong, capable, and compassionate, not a wussy female needing a man to save her, only to aid her in a world she's unfamiliar with. It's worth reading but don't expect the typical Howard book.
