3.75 stars--SIREN ENSLAVED is the third instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult TEXAS SIRENS erotic, BDSM, romance series focusing on the of an upscale Dallas spa and resort known as The Club, which doubles as a BDSM club. This is billionaire businessman and Dominant Julian Lodge, and submissives -attorney Finn Taylor, and medical receptionist Danielle Bay’s story line. SIREN ENSLAVED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion. The Texas Sirens series is a spin-off from the author’s NIGHTS IN BLISS, COLORADO series. NOTE: SIREN UNLEASHED is the re-release of the 2011 book authored by Sophie Oak aka Lexi Blake with new content. There is also a slight cross-over with the characters from the author’s Masters and Mercenaries series, and Nights in Bliss, Colorado. WARNING: SIREN UNLEASHED contains scenes of M/M/F sexual situations that may not be suitable for all readers. Told from several third person perspectives (Julian, Finn and Danielle) SIREN ENSLAVED follows in the wake of Danielle Bay’s actions as a runaway bride. Julian is also a bi-sexual male is who willing to enter into a contracted relationship with Dani and Finn but the heart wants something more than rules and regulations, the heart wants passion, love and a happily ever after. From the minute Dani jumps into his car, Julian senses a woman that is willing to submit to everything he demands. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense; passionate and steamy, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Lucas and Lexi; Sean and Ian Taggart; psychiatrist Leo Meyer; Jack, Sam and Abigail; Dani’s ex-fiance Jimbo; her sister Val; as well as brother and sister Jeremy and Tricia Walker. SIREN ENSLAVED is a story of betrayal and revenge; love, heart break and obsession; relationship and acceptance.The premise is entertaining and bewitching; the characters are energetic and charismatic; the romance is captivating but fraught with torment and pain.

4 Star Review Siren Enslaved (Texas Sirens #3) by Sophie Oak We were introduced to Julian Lodge in the previous books and I was certainly intrigued with him from the start. This is his, Fin Taylor and Danielle Bay’s story. What a tangled web we weave when we cannot admit to our friends the truth. Fin has worked himself into a corner by not admitting to the woman he loves that he is in fact bisexual, rather than gay as Dani believes. Dani has decided to marry a man she really doesn’t want to all because she believes Fin is gay. When she decides to flee the wedding before the ceremony, she jumps into a car being driven by Julian who is on his way to visit Jack, Sam and Abby. Interestingly enough Julian doesn’t want to commit to a relationship due to his past and yet he finds himself drawn to Fin and Dani. This is a M/M/F story so be prepared. Although Siren Enslaved is not a particularly long read, I found myself reading well into the night; a story of acceptance, passion, strength and determination. There was romance and suspense woven into the story and the scenes were smoking hot. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Enslaved was one of those reads I could not put down.
