Lexi Blake once again has brought together family and friends from the amazing Masters and Mercenaries series. I love Lexi Blake! This book was a great introduction to Lexi's new series Topped, revolving around Sean Taggart's restaurant Top. Macon Miles is Adam Miles' little brother, who was injured in the military. Macon lost a good portion of his right leg, returns home to find that he lost his wife too, to his oldest Alan.. Macon has drowned himself in booze and saddens. After wife divorced him he just about gives up when his brother Adam brings his back home with him and gives him a reason to fight. Ally is searching for the truth of how her brother died in the overseas . She believes Macon is the key! She wants answers that only he can provide and she's vowed to do anything necessary to get her questions addressed. But she never expected to actually fall for the man who holds the secrets to she's desperate to have revealed.
