About this ebook

Making friends has never been Elise Dembowski's strong suit. All throughout her life, she's been the butt of every joke and the outsider in every conversation. When a final attempt at popularity fails, Elise nearly gives up. Then she stumbles upon a warehouse party where she meets Vicky, a girl in a band who accepts her; Char, a cute, yet mysterious disc jockey; Pippa, a carefree spirit from England; and most importantly, a love for DJing.
Told in a refreshingly genuine and laugh-out-loud funny voice, Leila Sales' THIS SONG WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE is an exuberant novel about identity, friendship, and the power of music to bring people together.

This book really blew me away; more so than I was prepared for with a teenage novel. There are many important lessons woven throughout the story line. Completely supported by an interesting concept and all with talented verbiage. It was easy to fall in love with a story like this, especially with a character like Elise. As a Disc Jokey in real time I'd have to say they nailed the perspective!

As a fellow teen whose dealt with not feeling comfortable with large groups and just feeling alone, as well as the self harming. This book brings on a w hole new perspective of how you view the world around, the ability being able to read a crowd. I wish I could do that, I wanna try to see how people view me; I also looked up a bunch of the songs mentioned and i really enjoyed listening to them. I hope to read more of your books author, thank you so much for writing a book that reaches out to the heart and soul of its readers.

I see myself in Elise. I feel like she would understand me if I met her in person. I love music just as much as I love reading. In a way, this book saved my life. Gave it a new meaning. This is a story I'll never forget.
