Mobilfunk - speziell Handys - gehört längst zum Alltag und Bestrebungen zur Optimierung der Technologien und drahtloser Netze laufen konsequent voran. Inzwischen mehren sich aber auch kritische Stimmen, d.h. vereinzelt befürchten Bürger bereits eine zunehmende Belastung durch elektromagnetische Strahlung. Das Phänomen Mobilfunk (nachfolgend MF) erkunden Wissenschaftler vieler Disziplinen (Physiker, Mediziner, Biologen etc). Die Leitfrage lautet „Ist der Umgang mit Handys an Schulen aus gesundheitlicher Sicht akzeptabel?“, und soll Schulen für die Thematik Mobilfunk sensibilisieren.
