This was a wonderful sweet, romantic story. Their journey was entertaining with witty banter, passion and their connection that was strong. Neither Jake or Lily have had a great life, neither feel worthy of love I was particularly frustrated by Lily’s mother and her constant criticism of Lily; both struggle with self-worth and that broke my heart, The Way You Are is a story of self-discovery, of learning to believe in yourself and trusting that the one you chose will be there when you need them.

Book two of the Ever After series gives its readers a grumpy/sunshine romance story that didn’t disappoint. Lily’s character is such a happy person with smiles that light up anyone who meets her. Her creative soul reaches everyone from her flower shop, Petals. Jake is the total opposite of Lily, his grumpy bear attitude takes a lot to get used to, but when he meets Lily, she starts breaking through his wall. What happens next was a sweet, heartwarming addition to the series. I loved the HEA
