This one has some strong Cinderella vibes. When Trystan and his 2 friends were at a tavern and seeing Bridget, (dressed up as a ragged boy) show some strength against her physically abusive step dad, they come up with a bet to turn her into a lady within 1 month. They did it because they were suffering some major boredom. This one was an enjoyable read. I'm now excited next bk for Her Wicked Highwayman. I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

4 1/2*STARS* Trystan Cartwright, the Earl of Zennor, is bored. Stopping at a tavern in Penzance with his best friends, they discover an abused young girl living with little food and no comfort. The three gentleman decide on a wager. In one month, Trystan will turn the girl into a lady. Step-daughter to the inn's owner, Bridget only wants a way out of her miserable life. Kidnapped by the three gentlemen, Bridget and the lessons begin. If only all wagers were as successful as this one. Pygmalion with a bored Earl and a hellion. Open bedroom door with heat. An easy read in an afternoon. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

My Fair Hellcat! This is certainly a different take on My Fair Lady, one that is entertaining and frustrating at the same time! Not a fan of Dominant males, and Trystan is one. For all her feistiness, I found Bridget’s lack of fire when he got that way confusing.I loved how Bridget not only learned how to be a lady, but still kept the fire within her. I was glad to see Trystan grow up a bit and listen to his great aunt. Phillip was adorable and would love to see him get a story.
