About this ebook

A river divides Cottonbloom in two: the upscale enclave on the Mississippi side and the rundown, rough and tumble side in Louisiana. They’re worlds apart—but nothing can build a bridge like love…

Cade Fournette never had it easy Cottonbloom. He stuck around long enough to raise his orphaned siblings and then hightailed it out West—and never looked back. Even though he’s made a success of himself in Seattle, Cade never lost the toughness and the angry edge that helped him survive down South. His only weak spot: the girl he left behind…

Monroe Kirby came from the wealthy side of town, but that didn’t protect her from her mother’s drinking—or her mother’s boyfriend. It was Cade who did that, on a long-ago hot September night, before he disappeared…along with a piece of her heart. Now Monroe is a physical therapist who can fight for herself, and it’s Cade who could use some conditioning when he makes an unexpected return back home. Will he and Monroe pick up where they left off and finally explore their mutual passion—or will the scars and secrets of the past divide them once more?

Enjoy this childhood crush, bad boy made good steamy small town romance for free! Kiss Me That Way is Book 1 of the Cottonbloom series.

I highly recommend this book, it has character and substance. So many books nowadays are sometimes just sex porn with a story. Typical manwhores and spineless, gullible, naive heroines. This one depicts their characters brokenness and how they overcome it with courage and grit. Strength inspite of human weakness. It is steamy, hilarious at times as it flows with typical small town life and it's quirky issues. People divided by societal levels of hierarchy, and its age old rivalries and resentments. Overall, a very satisfying and engaging story. The author deals with her characters as intelligent, fallible, sometimes weird and funny, human beings much similar to real life. And of course, basing on all domestic abuses done on women today, it is inspiring to read for once, a girl for all of her femininity can face her demons and beat the living daylights out of them.

Excellent, I loved everything about this story from beginning to the end, old fashioned innocent love story of kids meeting by happenstance while both running from dangerous situations, the two Cade and Monroe, making a connection that's going to connect them for life. Two of them from different sides of the river yet even when Cade is forced to leave town, fate finds a way for them to reconnect. It's such a great story.
