About this ebook

As a part of the acclaimed DC Comics - The New 52 event of September 2011, Dick Grayson flies high once more as Nightwing in a new series from hot new writer Kyle Higgins (BATMAN: GATES OF GOTHAM) and artist Eddy Barrows (SUPERMAN)! Haley's Circus, the big top where Dick once performed, makes a stop on its tour in Gotham City - bringing with it murder, mystery and superhuman evil. To uncover more clues as to why a mysterious assassin is targetting him, Nightwing joins the Haley's Circus tour in order to find more clues and protect those he loves. But as Dick becomes closer acquainted with the big top he grew up with, he discovers there's a much deeper, darker secret to be discovered.

This is my first nightwing book that I have read. The book had some good twist and turns but I was hoping that it would be just as memorable as Batman the court of the howls story. Great action and artwork I plan on buying the second book right away.

I never really paid much mind to the Dick Grayson character back when he was Robin, because he never really stood out next to Batman. But when he became Nightwing, he almost became his equal, and he made you take notice. So I am intrigued to see where this new story goes, so far it has my attention.

I have been a life long fan of Batman and old enough to have read comics where Dick Grayson was the only Robin. That said I am also old enough to have followed Dick's evolution to becoming Nightwing and have enjoyed the ride. This book, in my opinion, elevates this character to a position outside of the shadow of the Batman books that Nightwing has long deserved. An awesome story with great artwork, I hope this is only the beginning of a great run that will truly put this character on the map.
