KRISTINA SMITH is a firm believer that she read books while in her mother’s womb, and came forth into the world with a pen in hand, ready to record everything around her. Growing up as a military brat, her love of traveling the world was sparked early in life, and continues to this day. Her childhood dream to become a journalist was far outweighed by the need to have a job that would pay the bills so that she could live in the manner to which she wanted to become accustomed. When blogging became popular, she found a way to pursue her writing passion, while still paying the necessary bills. When she is not writing (or working to pay the bills), she can be found running hither and yon around the world, with a pen behind her ear, a journal in her bag, a camera in one hand, and a tasty snack in the other. Kristina currently resides in Atlanta, GA, but dreams of the day when she will call either a small Parisian flat on the Seine or some exotic beachfront cabin “home”.
