Buckle up Buttercup things are about to get hairy (come on it is punny) This is Kereny and Munro's turbulent and tantalizing tale of "How we met, fought, and fell in love" I do not want to give away spoilers so I am going to be a touch vague Munroe knows that Kereny is his mate - or he thinks he does - at times with Kerney's passive/aggressive responses to him even I questioned if his Mate compass was a bit off - but never fear someone knew what they were doing when they hooked these two up Even if they are separated by a few hundred years or so This is packed with action, drama, really really bad guys, betrayals that are not always betrayals and some that are, lots of humor, some smoking hot smexy moments, denial, more humor, a lot more denial, and a few "HOLY CRISPY CRACKERS" moments that I did not see coming I was hooked from the beginning. The story flowed at a tempo that was just shy of "cardio" according to my Fitbit - lol - There were some moments that allowed me to catch my breath while others had me screaming and my children looking at me as though I should be wearing a white coat I own this entire series in paperback and just recently started listening (audio format) to it from the beginning - So I might be just a touch attached and protective of the characters Welcome back Kresley

Wow! Munro and Kereny's romance was absolutely amazing!! The Feels! The Emotion! The Tension! The Drama! The Steam! The Swoon! All the elements were spot-on and skillfully woven into a lush, captivating and consuming tale that was simply irresistible. This couple's connection is electric and their chemistry scorching. I felt that there was an underlying sweetness that paired beautifully with the frank rawness that serves as a perfect accent to it all. This decadent read really delivered and I adored every single second of it. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

Queen Kresley does it again! This book was so worth waiting for. Kresley has an amazing talent in making every new IAD story fresh and exciting. And the chemistry between Munro and Kereny was off the charts. There's also the humour, which is a huge part of why I love IAD books. I was laughing so hard in places, I'm pretty sure I woke up the neighbours. And it was amazing seeing old friends, I have a soft spot for Lothaire and his twisted sense of humour, it was so good to see it's still there. I listened to the audiobook, because for me Robert Petkoff and his amazing voice is part of the IAD experience, and as always, he delivered and then some. I'm anxiously waiting for more after all the revelations in this book.
