It’s a story heard and told a thousand times. The word cocaine is way overused. I guess it was well written, but the characters lacked for me. Derek came off as someone who cried in all situations and, In my opinion, diminished his grief. Mackenzie seemed rather childish in her delivery, even for a 13 year old. Even the drug dealer was boring, and unrealistic. Denise was just missing so much substance. I couldn’t get attached to a single one. To me it seemed as if this was written from a sheltered person’s perspective. It was okay. But I was disappointed after all the hype. I’ve never written a book though, so what do I know?

This is a well written book It shows how one can get Hooked on drugs easily And the body requires More and more until you Are out of control.

I liked the book. Not as good as the reverend black series was a great book. Can't wait read another book
