Very relevant book on blending families following second marriages . In this case the husband was a widower with the dead wife up on a pillar - the author handled the feelings of the new wife sensitively. And you also had the issue of domestic violence. Overall a well written, thought provoking book

I think it was good, but not great. The storyline and characters were predictable. Anna should have been warmer and Nico little less obtuse and it would have added some depth to the story.

Really laugh out loud funny even though the book deals with serious themes. This is my first book by the author and I plan to read them all!
