About this ebook

Power Query is one component of the Power BI (Business Intelligence) product from Microsoft, and "M" is the name of the programming language created by it. As more business intelligence pros begin using Power Pivot, they find that they do not have the Excel skills to clean the data in Excel; Power Query solves this problem. This book shows how to use the Power Query tool to get difficult data sets into both Excel and Power Pivot, and is solely devoted to Power Query dashboarding and reporting.

Carnot give this book enough stars. You can handle huge amounts of data in seconds and start using excel without complex formulas. No need to for complex opening of files (say endless copy paste). Click click done. Later you can just refresh. Each chapter has nice example, not just general dry theory. It shows its age a bit. 100/10

This is the second time I buy I book by Miguel. I finished chapter 4 and I'm totally happy with it. it's very very well explained, nothing I could find in the internet. This is for Excel, but you can totally use this for Power BI too. Totally recommended.
