About this ebook

FROM THE AUTHOR OF HEMLOCK ISLAND--THE FIRST NOVEL IN THE #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING OTHERWORLD SERIES

“Frisky...Tells a rather sweet love story, and suggests that being a wolf may be more comfortable for a strong, smart woman than being human.”—The New York Times Book Review

Elena Michaels is the world’s only female werewolf. And she’s tired of it. Tired of a life spent hiding and protecting, a life where her most important job is hunting down rogue werewolves. Tired of a world that not only accepts the worst in her–her temper, her violence—but requires it. Worst of all, she realizes she’s growing content with that life, with being that person.

So she left the Pack and returned to Toronto where she’s trying to live as a human. When the Pack leader calls asking for her help fighting a sudden uprising, she only agrees because she owes him. Once this is over, she’ll be squared with the Pack and free to live life as a human. Which is what she wants. Really.

The first book is always going to be a bit drolling because they are developing characters, elaborating the rules and constraints and giving you the chance to REALLY understand them. Harry potter amd lotr and maaany acclaimed books are exactly the same way. Elena, though slightly blonde cliche child was a foster child, molested and is of course going to have a thing for clay because she has psychological issues...

Had it a while before i read it. Once i started, i couldn't stop. Though the heroines denial of the obvious was frustrating at times, to say the least, it was a great read! I will be looking for a sequel. If you like this genre, you'll love this story. Its a bit romance, a bit action, a bit naughty, some fights and blood, strong bonds and down right nasty villains. Again, i really enjoyed it! Thanks to the author i hope to find more by you!!

Boring. To put it plainly the idea quite good however very predictable and cliché. I putting the book down after about two chapters and a 1/2 in. I like the idea of the werewolf but it's too predictable for my liking. Feels like a Cheesy romance novel instead of a book about werewolves.
