I can't believe there's a DC title featuring the writing of Eerie Edward Lee! That's like turning on General Hospital and seeing your favorite big bosomed starlet of x-rated films showing off acting chops like Meryl Streep, or tuning in to a beloved cooking show only to see the slobbering cross-eyed host devour rotten eggs and then puke them all up everywhere as the audience gasps in revulsion. Lee's sick novels and stories--which probably would be just too much for most readers, and certainly can't be described in the Christian environment of a Google review--gave us the disgusting concept of the Header and the horrific satanic mutant The Bighead, the most perverse hillbilly monster ever portrayed in print. Maybe someday Lee will combine two of his most famous concepts into 'The Bigheader.' But I digress. Fans of hardcore horror and DC are going to love this unlikely Halloween grimoire from a company that doesn't take many chances anymore in a dorky era of total political correctness.

Truly excellent! Several DC characters in alternate short stories that definitely like a crossing of Elseworlds and classics Twilight Zone, blending into Halloween mood, DC Comics Style!
