Delectable story of desire and emotions complicating life for a couple at odds with their feelings. Romance was not on the books for neither Angelica nor Max but it got written in anyway. She is trying to rebuild her reputation-her #1 goal. He is not ever falling in love-his life’s aim. Fate does not care at all. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
