Kate Pearce travels back to Morgantown, CA in Romancing the Rancher, this time it's Evan's turn. I found this story to be a bit bittersweet since it's the last one in The Millers of Morgan Valley series. Family drama and a touch of suspense round out this romance and made for a quick enjoyable read. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of these characters. ARC received via the author and NetGalley.

This story belongs to Evan Miller, the youngest and last of the Miller brothers that is still unattached. From the moment he meets Josie, Rio Martinez’s sister, he is smitten. But she is at a crossroads in her life and he is trying to find a place in the ranch and a purpose in his life. Though the romance for me was just ok, what I really enjoyed about the book was getting a chance to “see” how the rest of the Miller brothers were doing . As the final story in the series, loose ends were tied and everyone ends with their HEA. For that, it gets 4 stars. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Net. Last of the Miller boys finds his HEA Evan, the youngest of the Miller sons, is somewhat adrift, living in the shadows of his highly accomplished and romantically paired-off siblings. All he wants is to keep doing his job on the ranch, until he meets Rio's younger sister, Josie, who challenges him to dream a little bigger. I have loved every one of the Millers of Morgan Valley romances, and this is no exception. As the last, we're also treated to satisfying updates on each of the earlier couples as well as some resolution to the issues standing between their parents. I adored that this story brought the Martinez family full circle as well, incorporating the complex relationships between Rio and Josie and their parents. It's a wonderful final chapter in a fantastic series, one you don't want to miss if you love contemporary cowboy romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
