I had a psychologist tell me that I needed to read this book back on August 31,2004 & I thought to myself "what? Are you serious? You just diagnosed me with ADHD (which I already knew I had, & my oldest son had but was medicated for already) & I'm not medicated yet for, but you want me to go to the library & check this book out to read? And be able to focus enough to read it??". He said that it's geared towards adults, unlike the majority of ADHD books available are geared for children. Well, he was sooo right about me reading this book!! It helped me to understand so so much about what I was suffering from & explained it all in terms that was easy to understand but didn't make you feel too unintelligent enough to understand. I loved it so much that I renewed it from the library to read again. I didn't return it on time of course lol. In fact, one of my closest friends took the book & returned it without telling me because she knew I loved it so much I wasn't going to make it a priority to return it.
