About this ebook

Sometimes the things that seem sweet and innocent are the most dangerous. A cottage made out of candy, for example, might just be a hungry witch’s trap. That is what Hansel and Gretel learn, to their horror, after their cruel stepmother turns them out into the forest to starve. Now they will have to work together and use all their cleverness if they want to defeat the witch and escape with their lives. This retelling of the well-known children’s story comes to life with beautiful illustrations.

This is wrong for children. This story is "bad" because, when they (the family) were in trouble, they didn't stick together. When the children came back home with treasures, then, they can live happily ever after. To add more, this book didn't resembling "Happy family" theme at all. I hope the author can fix this up in future release 😊. Anyway, love the illustration. They're beautiful Danish

I have daddy issues. He's submissive and passive, does not try to do his best to compromise for the sake of his own biological children. Poor children, left with a scaredy cat father to take care of them

Liked it but when its a read aloud book one would expect that there is audio or the font to be larger. Nevertheless the story line is good and the way it is told slightly unique compare to other books with the same title.
