About this ebook

In a delightfully sexy and witty series, New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Karen Hawkins creates an unforgettable couple locked in a marriage that begins with a desperate feud—and ends in seduction.

It’s hardly the type of wedding Fiona MacLean dreamed of. No family, no guests, just a groom who’s been dragged—literally—to the altar. But if marriage to Black Jack Kincaid, the handsome wastrel she’d sworn never to see again, will avert a bloody war between their clans, so be it. Surely she can share his bed without losing her heart…

Known throughout Scotland and London as a wild rogue, Jack is accustomed to waking in dire situations, but…married? Long ago, he and Fiona reveled in a youthful passion. Now, the fiery, sensual lass is his once more. And though their marriage is in name only, Jack is determined to win her forever—body and soul…

I loved Fiona's attitude and high-spirit. She definitely showed Jack how it was done in their marriage. Again, with this one, I wished the ending would have been better just because it was so bland. Fiona was almost killed by the crazy obsessive prostitute of Jack's and nothing was really done about her, they basically just talked to her and then threw her to the government? What? She should have died! And the other dude just apologized? What? He seemed to badass but whimped out. Whether Fiona was pregnant or not, I got lost a bit there because they mentioned she was, but it was so vague and there wasn't any great celebration about it. Wasn't that what they were trying to acheive the whole book? The fued just totally lost it after they wedded. That horrible fued that started the whole book just merely disappeared into thin air. I expected more drama!!!! No feedback from Kincaid's side of the family about their marriage too, diappointing. Overall, I liked it, jus wished some things would have been better.

I have read this book before, but I quite enjoy the story of feuding families finding redemption in love.
