After reading the review I was on the fence about reading this story. But now, I'm so glad I did. Greyley and Anna are fun characters who go through an interesting development. Sir Phineas sounds like the best kind of grandfather, and lady Putney was a perfectly awful villain that I enjoyed despising. All I all I loved this book and can hardly wait for the next one.

situational-humor, verbal-humor, family-dynamics, friendship, erotica, romance, happy-ending Five resentful orphans, an overbearing Earl, a no-nonsense Society Lady turned governess and her interfering father: what could possibly go wrong? It's a powder keg fueled by attraction and humor! Loved it ten years ago and still do.

About the author

Karen Hawkins was raised in Tennessee, a member of a huge extended family that included her brother and sister, an adopted sister, numerous foster siblings, and various exchange students. In order to escape the chaos (and while hiding when it was her turn to do the dishes), she would huddle under the comforter on her bed with a flashlight and a book, a habit she still embraces to this day.
